There are no words to describe how much you've made everything fall into place, my friend. I hope that wherever you are, you are having tea. I'd love to be your best friend, but I'm at least getting a tattoo in your honor. Yes, thanks for changing my life for the better like you did.
somekindofcross and I are no longer arguing. We seem to be on a temporary truce over Rossetti (who is actually sprawled on my bed wearing my boxers and reading an old issue of rock sound with My Chemical Romance on the cover. I think he likes bleach-haired Gerard better though) and we have found ourselves new obsessions. While I am obsessed with actually not-failing the year, she seems to have met her new love, Keats.
shaggingshelley, the case remains that Keats was made of win and I love 'im to pieces. I have Shelley (can we make that plural y/n) and
somekindofcross and I share Byron (who just showed up in my room with some gummi bears and wearing my bathrobes and is now on my bed. With Rossetti... damn)
*returns a few hours later, clearly dishevelled*
Anyways, I seem to have been talking about this with a-many people, so 'ere it is:
( the Romantics from all around if born 200 years later )

The degree of hot in this picture is making me melt.
Also: in spite of lots of trouble, attending a school event today to remember the 25th of April made me feel better (things that fuel my idealism ftw) and I actually had one of the teacher (who I don't really know) give me a carnation and tell me I should write on this mural =)
& ideas for Psychology assignments are for the win. Maybe if I'm allowed I'll talk about "Les Miserables" and the fullfilment of labels etc or some such (I always have to call Literature into everything).
This is priceless. It's the dubbed trailer of a movie that... okay, you REALLY must watch it. My fave part was when she goes like "TUS CARICIAS ME DAN FRIO" and the SUPAH AWESUM boat effects, because that scene CLEARLY looks like a lake at night rather than a swimming pool with bad lightning and a fog machine.
shaggingshelley sent me the link yesterday. I LOL'ed.
The only thing I have to say is (macro by me from a "Bride of Frankenstein" pic):
This is a fanfic I wrote in Psych or Portuguese or I don't even know (because it being on the Psych notebook means nothing!) ageees ago. It's basically a follow-up of "The Importance Of Being Ernest".
Pairing: Jack (Ernest)/Algy
Rating: NC-17? idk.
Warnings: dude, they're brothers, so if you don't like, don't read it. Also. Alsoooo, they're two boys. Same with before -- don't like, don't read.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters, Oscar Wilde owns them as well as a HUGE amount of awesome. <3 :3
NOTE: This is, for the most part, unedited so excuse any "WTF" mistakes =)
This is horrible and vicious. A supposed "artist" called Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, decided to make a "work of art" (work of bullshit, that's what it is! Ugh!) where he let a dog starve to death. Because, clearly, that is civilized and artistic, to do such harm to a living being.

The dog died, of course, and now he has been invited to do the same this year.

please sign this petition to try to stop him from that. This is sickening how in our day and age people feel the need to pass such monstruous acts as "art".

This one was made by freakycheri. I really like it because... well it says "I <3 Oscar Wilde", which is true in my case. Oscar Wilde is one of the people who have influenced my life the most; he inspired me to be myself no matter, and explore things I had never imagined existed. He gave me hope to continue (I know this sounds like religious propaganda, but whatever. Bear with me, please!) in the thoughest moments, and made me happier in the good ones. I really admire him because in a way he was like a martyr, victim of a society who didn't even bother understanding him. He was an amazing person, a wonderful writer, and a walking fascination.

This delightfully deliciously hot and beautiful lad is Lord Alfred Douglas, more often known as "Bosie". I'd tell you to "JFGI", which I actually will since I'd get into a biased, fangirly ramble about him. Instead, I'll just tell you that he was beautiful and over a century after this picture was taken, I still use it to inspire "awe!" in myself and others. I have functioning eyes. He also wrote poetry, and I really want to hug him because of his father and that. :)
3.
This is Jamie Campbell Bower. If you don't know much about him -- that's normal since he's pretty new to the whole "fame" thing. Jamie played Anthony (Sweeney's shipmate who falls in love with the demon barber's daughter/Judge Turpin's ward, Johanna), and damn... he is really quite fine. :) I generally use this picture in comms such as ONTD and lol_scenekids.

This is one of my heroes, Ada Lovelace. If you want more details JGFI, but I am gonna tell you this: she was a visionary and created a program for Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine. Meaning, she was basically the "first programmer" of sorts. In fact, up until quite recently (I don't know if they still do this), Microsoft's seal of authenticity was a small holografic sticker of her (which is pretty cool. I really want to get a holografic sticker of myself! Besides, chicks who are into computers rock). As a fun side-fact, she was Byron's first legitimate daughter (I suppose people who say intelligence is hereditary have a proof here). ALSO. Alsooo. "Princess of Parallelograms" was the nickname Byron gave his ex-wife, aka Ada's mum.
Here's looking at you, kid. Celebrate years.
